Sometime qtp not able to identify the object with the use of mandatory properties, than this smart identification provide help to identify the object with the use of Base filter properties and Optional Filter properties.
In Base filter properties we have to put those properties which cannot be changed and in optional properties we can put any properties that provide the support to identify the object
To enable the smart identification we have to check the check box against the Smart identification option
After clicking on Configure button you will get the option to set base filter or optional filter properties.
